Taking its name from the 1730 Township where current day North Augusta, SC resides, the “New Windsor” cabinet shop is a facility that offers programs to educate and bring to life 18th century cabinetmaking, chairmaking, coopering, joinery, carpentry, and box-making.  We provide a teaching environment that recreates the sights, sounds, and smells of an 18th century working small town cabinetmaking shop for guests throughout the year.

The New Windsor shop offers the opportunity for local youth and adults to apprentice in 18th century woodworking.  In addition, the cabinetmaking shop produces furniture to populate the other buildings within the park.

The New Windsor Cabinetmaker's Shop is a part of the 8 acre North Augusta Living History Park and is located in North Augusta, SC.  Directions to the park can be obtained using the Maps and Directions link on the www.ColonialTimes.us website.
